Pre-K for All Program
Holy Family Catholic Academy in Fresh Meadows offers a FREE Pre-K for All program sponsored by the NYC Department of Education. If you are a current resident of NYC and your child will turn 3 or 4-years-old by December 31st, you are eligible to enroll.
In our full-day program, activities are provided to support the development of needed skills and knowledge. Our daily schedule provides students with opportunities for individual, small, and whole group learning through a balance of student and adult-initiated activities. Our daily routine is as follows:
- Arrival - 8:00am
- Unpack
- Table Toys
- Large Groups Meeting
- Hand Washing / Bathroom
- Snack Time 1 - 9:30am
- Centers
- Gross Motor Play / Movement
- Hand Washing / Bathroom 2
- Lunch - 11:15am
- Outdoor Activity Play
- Rest Time / Quiet Time
- Hand Washing / Bathroom 3
- Snack Time 2 - 1:00pm
- Afternoon Center Time
- Closing Meeting / Pack Up
- Dismissal - 2:20pm
